Friday, 6 December 2024 marked the completion of a one week training of officers from our National Firearms Registry and Armoury. This training addressed growing challenges with firearms, officers from Ha'apai, Vava'u, and 'Eua joined to develop strategies where they can ensure safe and protected communities.

Commissioner of Police Authorised Delegate, Tevita Vailea in his address, emphasised the growing issue of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition. “The safety of our communities is our priority,” he stated. “We need integrity and accountability to act on the issues brought forth.”

We remain dedicated to ensure the safety of the public and the community. These trainings maintain our focus to take on these challenges.

Congratulations to our training participants!
